Omar Mesa is a licensed Massage Therapist and is nationally certified by the National Certification Board of Massage Therapy and Bodywork. He holds a Master of Science Degree in Education from Nova Southeastern University.
Omar’s years of experience in Health Education are comprised of serving as Program Director of Massage Therapy at a medical college and research studies related to Physical Rehabilitation. In addition, he was a Physical Education and Sports teacher in Cuba where he worked as a coach for several sports teams, as well as a Rehabilitation Specialist at a medical center.
These days, Omar is focusing on helping people to achieve and maintain wellness of being as he uses his combined experience and knowledge as a teacher and a health professional to educate clients on ways to maintain the balance between body and soul. He specializes in customizing treatments to fit his clients' individual needs.
Omar is also an experienced registered yoga teacher (E-RYT 200) through Yoga Alliance and certified as a Specialist in Strength and Conditioning by International Sports Sciences Association.
In addition, Omar is an approved continuing education provider through NCBTMB and Florida Health Department for the massage therapy profession.
